You can choose from a virtually unlimited range of artistic expression with advanced effects like Toy Camera, High Monochrome and Partial Color - a unique effect that lets you capture one particular color in an otherwise black-and-white image.

With Picture Effect, there's no need to manipulate your photos with image-editing software — you can create works of photographic art simply by releasing the shutter — and have the camera save them in JPEG format for you automatically.

Image settings with ease 

Even if you've never used an interchangeable-lens camera before, the NEX-C3's all-new "Photo Creativity" user interface allows you to express your creativity at a touch with instant access to menus for adjustments. Alter colour, brightness on images, or add a Soft Skin Effect or Background Defocus. It's so easy to operate - just use the on-screen tips, and preview how the applied effects will look on images using the LCD monitor, even when multiple effects are applied simultaneously.

Apply Background Defocus with the camera’s large Exmor™ APS HD CMOS sensor, while a dedicated ‘movie’ button enables one-touch recording. Also use Picture Effect for Partial Colour and High Contrast Monochrome effects to make unique movies.

3D Sweep Panorama
Extra-wide scenic views to enjoy  

Be in awe of the beauty of scenery and landscapes on the NEX-C3. Sweep across the scene you want to capture for a panoramic 3D image to be created, with left and right views combined. Then play it back on a compatible 3D television to see the panoramic image just as you remember it live.
